Greg Jodry is Senior Vice President, Security Operations for Global Security Solutions Inc.

Greg has 30+ years’ experience in high-visibility global brands, such as Workday, Yahoo, Microsoft, Aetna, E. & J. Gallo Winery, Lotus Development, and Digital Equipment Corporation is used to implement strategies and technologies that deliver business results while accomplishing security’s mission.

Greg’s award-winning leadership and organizational development delivers Corporate Security and Executive Protection for iconic leaders and aligns security with CEO strategies, corporate culture, and business units.

On his arrival at Workday, Greg built key executive relationships and produced a monthly executive dashboard communication which demonstrated vital results, operational metrics and financial performance of the Corporate Security organization which supported 10,000 employees globally. Realizing the need to make workmates safe in this age of active shooters, Greg developed a benchmarking exercise which measured programs of 18 Silicon Valley companies. Greg utilized this data to gain executive approval for a mandatory holistic video security awareness campaign for existing employees and as part of the onboarding process for new employees and contractors.

At Yahoo, Greg built the Global Security and Safety organization from the ground up. Greg provided global leadership in these areas to more than 12,300 Yahoo employees at 65+ Yahoo locations in more than 25 countries.

In 2009, Greg worked to develop the first dedicated physical security track sessions at the RSA show, where he was also a presenter, sharing his vision regarding the benefits of alignment and centralization of security operations for global corporations.

Recognized in 2008 with a special Yahoo award for minimizing corporate risk during a problematic reduction in force, Greg re-organized Yahoo Data Center and Vault Protection and security delivery in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions.

With Aetna, Greg led worldwide security operations that protected 100 locations and more than 30,000 employees. Among his many accomplishments, he started a comparative analysis and benchmarking of security performance within the insurance industry.

At E. & J. Gallo Winery, Greg managed all aspects of security including executive protection of the family ownership group. He integrated security into corporate business planning and developed and managed the wineries’ supply chain security program.

As Group Manager of Worldwide Security Operations at Microsoft, Greg’s security program included nine managers, 130 staff and a Global Life Safety Control Center serving Microsoft locations in 103 countries worldwide. Greg created and directed the global executive security program that protected several of the world’s highest net worth individuals. In 2003 Greg received Microsoft’s Gold Star award for a lifesaving security operation in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
